Why???  With fax machines and modems most hi-tech work can be done anywhere.  As
a matter of fact, some of the stuff I've looked at recently was also bid on by
folks who intended to have the work done in India.  It is gonna be real hard for
me to compete with folks who have been educated in American universities
(subsidised by my tax $) and get paid less than $10/day.  But, I can almost
always compete with a US company's in house staff if they will be honest about
what employees really cost them.  I'm not too worried about off-shore
competition yet because most of the folks I work for like the fact that I can be
on an airplane within a few hours and provide onsite support anywhere in the
good ol' USA.  Non-residents can not provide that type of service.
